[Tour with PL] Nonstop Brooklyn Tour

Next, we are going for a Brooklyn tour. This wasn't suppose to be a hop on hop off, but nonstop. It was extremely hot, Liya love playing with her goggles.

The final nonstop bus for Brookly tour was at 3.00 pm. We reached the boarding point by 2.00. We still have time left, then we saw a park and the ferry port to NJ and Statue of Liberty. Well, isn't it a good idea to spend few minutes there in the park, instead of standing in the bus waiting area, under the blazing sun...? Definitely yes, and we are in the park.

Statue of Liberty can be seen afar, we clicked few pics and headed back to the bus boarding point

This is the building right infront of the boarding area, I clicked this because it appeared like a pencil sketch in my frame or sort of match boxes stacked one above another. What do you feel?

Brooklyn tour was simply mind-blowing, we got to see a 'different' perspective and culture at the populous borough of NY.  Brooklyn is completely different from other boroughs of NYC, may be because it has got a unique architectural heritage.
On our way, we saw Manhattan Chinatown. Where the branding boards, placards etc of stores, shops, corporates etc where written in Chinese language. For a sec, I imagined I am in China..;)

Liya slipped into a deep sleep, on J's shoulder!

We passed by the Brooklyn Bridge, which is one of the oldest suspension bridges in the US and the first steel-wire suspension bridge, completed in 1883.
...and NY's breath-taking skylines..

I am sorry to say that, but we had most boring tour guide, who literally did not let us take a breath. :(

Constructions and re-constructions are still ON...

...and there we found HALAL meat market too!
Here comes Brooklyn Public Library
...and a glimpse of Botanical Garden

...another skyscraper...

...and finally back to Manhattan, passing over the Hudson river!

  3. The building definitely looks more like a pencil sketch to me. A very professionally done pencil sketch!

Looks like a great tour, although I'm sorry about the tour guide. :( When we were in Boston we did a tour and the guide was full of information but not very entertaining, so I know how you feel.

The picture of a sound asleep Liya is sweet though :)
