Our Pick: Guess How Much I Love You
Author: Sam McBratney
"Guess how much I love you," says Little Nutbrown Hare. Little Nutbrown Hare shows his daddy how much he loves him: as wide as he can reach and as far as he can hop. But Big Nutbrown Hare, who can reach farther and hop higher, loves him back just as much. Well then lil Nutbrown Hare loves him right up to the moon, but that's just halfway to Big Nutbrown Hare's love for him.
Note: As I am tied up with a busy schedule at work, I wasn't able to write a review as I do always. May be, I will take up this book again for a review, later. Insha Allah.

A sneak peak at Liya's day with the book.

Looks like she loved the book!! Reading with the kidlets is so much fun - most of the time my youngest just takes the book from me and goes away. lol. love too when she tells me the story herself instead of me reading it to her!
ReplyDeletestopping by from VB today. hope it is a fabulous one!
Look how excited she is about reading that book! I absolutely adore this book. My older son loved to read it over and over and over. He would stretch his arms and ask, "Guess how much I love you?" He had it a little backwards, given the arm stretching is supposed to come with the answer to that question, but it was cute nonetheless. Great book for this post!
ReplyDeleteAll my children have loved this book - it is quite a classic in the UK! I still have a copy in the book box! Karima :)
ReplyDeleteThe illustrations look really great, and if she was that enthralled reading and looking through, it must be a good one!;)
ReplyDeleteOh, I like your new header too!
Cheers from vB,
Courtney
My father-in-law would say "I love you $50.00." It was so much money back then...now with inflation, my husband has started saying, "I love $50.23"...lol
